New fully electric Wille e475Δ delivers power for environmental management with fast charging
The Finnish company Wille Machines Oy has been researching and developing electric and hybrid technology for work machines for nearly a decade. Now the factory enters a new era by launching its first fully electric machine for environmental services. Wille e475Δ offers the same performance and versatile attachment range as the popular diesel-powered Wille 475Δ in the same size class – with zero emissions.
“Wille e475Δ is designed to support our customers in achieving their climate goals. They are looking for a solution that enables locally zero-emission work without compromising performance,” says Pekka Elo, CEO of Wille Machines Oy.
Battery developed for work machine use
The power source of Wille e475Δ is a battery pack manufactured by Finnish company IONCOR, offering long service life and reliability for demanding work machine applications. The high-voltage 650 V electrical system and battery preheating ensure dependable performance even in the cold and challenging conditions of the North.
Wille e475Δ is available with two battery sizes: 46.5 kWh and 93 kWh. The battery is safe and reliable thanks to its structure and intelligent monitoring, which prevent overheating and electrical faults. It is also highly resistant to moisture, dust, and vibration.
Charging Wille e475Δ is designed to be flexible: it can be charged using the same home and fast chargers as electric cars. This allows charging even during a lunch break at up to 200 kW maximum charging power, so the workday continues without long interruptions.
Power without compromise
The fully electric drive system ensures excellent efficiency, as there are no hydraulic losses. Wille e475Δ’s electric motors are optimized separately for driving and work hydraulics, guaranteeing efficient and precise operation in all tasks.
Maintenance costs are reduced because the electric motor requires no traditional engine servicing. In addition, operating energy is significantly cheaper than in combustion engine machines, which greatly lowers operating costs.
User experience in focus
The cabin of Wille e475Δ offers a modern and ergonomic workspace where heating and cooling adjust automatically. The machine’s user interface provides the operator with clear information on battery status, power consumption, and maintenance needs. The remote management and diagnostic features of the Wille Smart Link service enable predictive maintenance and efficient fleet management, especially for customers operating multiple machines.
Finnish expertise in a high-tech work machine
Electrification is now driving a major transformation in the work machine industry, and high-voltage technology represents the cutting edge of this future development.
“Wille e475Δ is one of the first work machines for environmental services that combines a compact size for urban environments, fast charging, and sufficient power for demanding contracting tasks. We are proud that Finnish expertise is at the forefront of sustainable development in work machine and battery technology,” says Pekka Elo.
The fully electric newcomer will be launched in November 2025 and will be available in late 2026.
