Reliable Property Maintenance with Wille Machines

Urakoinnit J Mäkinen visited Wille’s stand at the Sarkamessut Fair.

Wille environmental management machines combined with years of professional experience in property maintenance ensure that Urakoinnit J. Mäkinen delivers first-class upkeep across the South Ostrobothnia region in Finland. Father Jyrki Mäkinen and son Niko Mäkinen visited the Wille stand at the Sarkamessut fair in Seinäjoki to catch up with sales representative Pasi Eronen.

Urakoinnit J. Mäkinen uses its Wille fleet to handle snow ploughing, sanding, crushed stone spreading, yard levelling, forklift tasks and other seasonal property maintenance work. As a speciality, they also use Wille for sewer flushing with a high-pressure washer equipped with a sewer flushing nozzle. This setup is ideal for property maintenance, where blocked stormwater drains occasionally need to be opened quickly and efficiently.

The company’s fleet includes the newest Delta-series Wille 675Δ, as well as a Wille 865 and Wille 655C. The largest Wille is typically operated by the father, while the newest series is in the son’s hands. Over the years, their Wille machines have been replaced a few times with newer and more powerful models, and the aim in the coming years is to upgrade the largest machine to the new Delta series as well.

Agility, domestic manufacturing and versatility are Wille’s strengths

The Mäkinen family values Wille machines for good reason. They highlight the machine’s agility, Finnish origin, efficiency and hydraulic system, which enables highly versatile work in different conditions. They also appreciate the machine’s moderate fuel consumption and strong resale value.

“Different work profiles can be selected according to the task, and the engine speed adjusts automatically. The hydraulics are extremely versatile – you won’t find this level in many machines. We can head out with a U-plough to clean a yard and spread sand right after in the same run. After twelve hours of ploughing, we only need to refuel once.”

They take excellent care of their Wille machines: attachments are greased manually, and the central lubrication system is topped up as needed. After each shift, the machines are washed to remove road salt and other debris. They report having received very good service in warranty matters from Wihuri’s Seinäjoki location, which has further strengthened their trust in the Wille fleet and smooth cooperation.
